What is somewhere you want to visit for the art and why?

I have been to New York City twice on group vacations. I have loved both of them. However, I would love to take a third trip alone or with friends solely to see the art scene. There are so many amazing museums and galleries in the city with works you might never see somewhere else. On top of that, there is a wide array of public art installations, some constant and some constantly changing, that would be amazing to see. I feel like that would be a great trip for me to take with some of my friends who are also artists. What is somewhere you would like to travel to solely for the art scene?
